Beatrice Okyere-Manu is an Associate Professor of Applied Ethics in the School of Arts at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. She is Programme Director for Applied Ethics and a C2-rated researcher with a strong background in Counselling and Chaplaincy.
Her research interests are in Applied Ethics: Environmental Ethics, Technology and Ethics, and African Ethics. With a blend of practical experience in community involvement and theoretical scholarship on African ethics, Beatrice has authored several journal articles and book chapters in these areas.
She was recognized with the Staff Excellence Award in 2018 for being among the top 10 supervisors and in 2019 for being among the top 30 Most Published Researchers in Humanities at the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
